Pitt running back Rushel Shell told coach Paul Chryst he will transfer from the university, ending his stay with the team after one season The young man may go west. Shell's top transfers options can be found within the Pac-12. UCLA is one likely option, as is Arizona State, where Todd Graham is the head coach." Rushel Shell was seen as the future of Pitt's run-first offense. Pitt was prepared to hand the reins to Shell after Ray Graham graduated. Junior-to-be Isaac Bennett probably would likely be thrust to the top of the depth chart if Shell left the program. Redshirt sophomore Malcolm Crockett would serve the team's No. 2 back. |
