Sun Devils Looking To Get Younger |
By Fred Perdue May 13, 2013 Arizona State head coach Todd Graham is concerned about his team's depth. The Sun Devils' staff will have to rely on its incoming recruiting class to play significant roles as a result of the team's lack of depth. “Our newcomers are going to be real critical,” Graham told Bob Kemp of The Sports on AM 1060 ”A lot of newcomers are going to be in that 2-deep and some of them will be impactful as starters.” Arizona State added 10 JUCO recruits in this year's class. The biggest contribution should come from them. Nick Kelly is already listed as the team's No. 2 center after spring practice. The Sun Devils also had four true freshmen on the defensive depth chart for spring practice. Defensive tackle Brayden Gazlay, defensive end Kisima Jagne, and linebackers Chans Cox and Lucas Revelle each had an opportunity to potentially become one of those early contributors after getting an early start compared to the rest of the class. |
